A New Beginning in Israel.
Despite initial anxieties, we decided to move from Russia to Israel for a brighter future. We recently arrived after a direct flight from Moscow and received a surprisingly warm welcome.
While we’re still learning the language and haven’t found jobs in our specialties yet, we’re determined to contribute to Israeli society. We see limited opportunities for our child in our home country, and we want to be part of Israel’s development.
Although settling in took some time, we found an apartment, and temporary passports, and even enrolled our child in kindergarten within three weeks! I’ve already secured assembly work, opened a bank account, and applied for a driver’s license. We’re also in the process of getting biometric passports.
Overall, we’re doing well. People are helpful and understanding. We’re happy we made this decision!
