By remaining silent about our solidarity with Israel, we are inadvertently aligning ourselves with the wrong side. However, by openly and vocally standing with Israel, we are making the choice to support what is right. During our time in Israel, we witnessed firsthand that the conflict is far from over – it is still raging as people attempt to surround Jerusalem. It was eye-opening to see the resilience and faith of the Israeli people in the midst of this ongoing war.
Having traveled to Israel 15 times, I have had the privilege of experiencing the deep connection that the people have with their religious beliefs. Their love and appreciation for those who stand by them was evident in the countless times Jewish individuals approached us to express gratitude for our support. It was heartwarming to see their unwavering dedication and admiration towards us, emphasizing the importance of standing in solidarity with Israel.
On my 44th trip to Israel, I was once again struck by the impact of our actions on the local community. From financial assistance to providing essential resources such as food, housing, shelter, and medicine, we have made a tangible difference in the lives of the Israeli people. Through initiatives like mobile ICU units and Aliyah, we have not only offered practical support but also instilled a sense of hope and friendship among the Jewish population.
In a world where anti-Semitism (Jewish Racism) is on the rise, Jews around the globe are feeling increasingly isolated, reminiscent of the dark days of 1938-1939. Despite these challenging times, it is crucial for us to remember the words of God, who foretold of such trials and tribulations. He also promised that the eyes of the Gentiles – that is, us – would be opened to the truth.
By actively choosing to stand with Israel, we are making a powerful statement about our values and beliefs. Our voices matter, and our solidarity with Israel sends a clear message to the world that we refuse to be complicit in the face of injustice. This decision to support what is right is not just a moral imperative; it is a reflection of our unwavering commitment to justice and peace.
In a time when silence can be mistaken for indifference, it is essential that we speak up and take a stand for what is right. By standing with Israel, we are aligning ourselves with a cause that is just and noble. Let us not shy away from our responsibility to support those in need and to stand up against hatred and discrimination. Together, we can be a force for good in the world, and by choosing to stand with Israel, we are choosing the right side.
